The Dress

Hello! My wedding dress is from Australian designer Wendy Makin, I purchased my dress new from the Marry Me Bridal store in Mosman in 2014. It is a size 10 and has been worn only once. It was dry cleaned immediately after use and is in excellent condition. I did have slight alterations to the garment sizing taking it in at the bust (perfect fit size for 8-10) I also added a button to bustle the train of the dress.

The dress is very beautiful in photos but in person this dress is just stunning. The silk material is breathtaking with the print resembling a watercolour painting. A mixture of colours have been used throughout the floral design (ivory, pale pink, grey, plum) it can be complimented by any colour bridesmaids dress. Most importantly It was SO comfortable to wear as I danced for hours, sat down comfortably, and ate as much as I wanted without a worry of "breathing in".

Being a D cup I was worried I would constantly be pulling up my dress throughout my wedding, the beauty of this dress is in the wrap around design at the bust which meant this wasn't an issue, when this dress is on you are comfortably locked in, you won't touch or adjust the dress at all.

I truly loved my wedding dress and to be honest I only tried this dress on "just for fun" in the shop but ended up buying it. I never thought I would of chosen a dress like this, but it was so comfortable and made me so happy, I would love nothing more than for someone else to enjoy wearing it as much as i did on their special day too.
