The Dress

This stunning gown features a SWEETHEART NECKLINE that will enhance the bust while providing modest coverage to the breasts (I'm a 34D). The asymmetrically PLEATED BODICE with a DROP-WAIST will flatter any waistline by creating the illusion of a longer torso and smaller waist. The beautifully BEADED EMBELLISHMENT adds the perfect delicate touch.

The CORSET BACK is probably one of my favorite features. By tightening the waist to highlight an hour glass figure, the corset helps create the perfect silhouette without the need for any additional shape-wear! Structurally, this dress is very sturdy. I was able to move around all day (and even comfortably dance, sit, and eat!) without worrying about any bulging, slipping, or popping.

The most breathtaking feature of this dress, I must say, is the dramatic ruffles layered along the skirt. I wore a wired petticoat underneath to help enhance the "poof." Ending gracefully with a long train, this dress is no doubt a statement piece! As I walked down the isle, my groom (who is not usually an emotional one) was in tears!!

This gown has already been PROFESSIONALLY CLEANED by a company that specializes in bridal gowns. It is in pristine condition with no noticeable flaws or tears.

Alterations include 3 BUSTLES that were added to transform the gown's long layered train into a functional but chic floor-length gown, so that the bride can walk forwards and backwards independently after the ceremony (and dance as well).

SIZE-wise, there is A LOT of FLEXIBILITY with a corset back. You can tie the back to make the gown as loose or as tight as you wish. When I first bought the gown, I was closer to size 4-6. A year later, I had slimmed down to a size 0-2, but the gown still fitted without any issues. I would say you have about 4 inches around the torso to wiggle with.

LENGTH-wise, this dress is LONG. I am only 5'1" but wore 4-inch heels AND had a petticoat/underskirt to fan out the dress in order to avoid tripping.
