Rebecca Schoneveld "Petra" wedding dress – the refreshed ballgown with modern floral Spanish Jacquard. Tailoring done at The Wedding Dresser in Industry City, Brooklyn. Purchased for my June 15, 2019 wedding. Zero regrets with this one; beautiful, comfortable, timeless, rich-looking, POCKETS!! I am 5’8” and when I wore this beautiful dress I was around [removed] lbs, bra size 34 D, and wore 3.5” heels. Originally purchased in bridal size 8 (despite trying on and fitting into a sample size 6…which had become a bit stretched, they said, from being tried on). Unlike some brides that thin down between fittings, I had been lifting weights and ended up needing my seamstress to add in side panels to add space to the chest/back area; these panels can easily be removed during your alteration process. I also opted for the French bustle. I still have some of the scraps (what was cut off the bottom + a scrap that’s around 14” x 13”) which will be included with the dress. Dress was purchased new and only worn on that day. It was cleaned after the wedding and has very recently been professionally re-cleaned for sale. The dress looks fantastic with only a one or two areas of the hem (in the back of the dress) that have some residual marks (if you’re shorter than I am, these will get cut off!).
