Kate Willa, Roj Gown

Roj gown by Kate Willa, purchased in a split size AU 4 bodice / AU 6 skirt. For reference, I typically wear a US 00. The gown was professionally altered for a tailored fit, with the waist taken in slightly and the length shortened to fit my height (5’1” with heels). Bust cups were also added.
I ordered the dress with four layers of ivory lining when I purchased it from Kate Willa. During alterations, I added an additional ivory fabric sourced from Spina Bride, to ensure the gown wasn’t see-through.
The dress features a zipper back closure not a corset lace-up. It also comes with detachable spaghetti straps, giving you the option to wear it strapless or with straps.
There is minor beadwork damage where some beading was pulled during the reception. Because of the intricate beading pattern, it is very difficult to notice unless closely inspected.
Important note: The Roj gown is often photographed by Kate Willa with a champagne underlay. This dress was made with an ivory underlay, so it appears lighter and softer than the versions shown on their Instagram.
This gown is romantic, delicate, and incredibly flattering, and I received so many compliments wearing it. I hope it makes another bride feel just as special on her wedding day!
