I loved wearing this dress. It is simple and timeless.

Fabric is a thick crepe that is super comfortable and easy to move in. For the reception, I used the French bustle so I could dance and walk freely without holding the train.

Care:
The dress has been dry cleaned, though I was told after that the fabric is durable enough to be hand washed.
Condition:
It’s in excellent condition. I’ve checked it carefully and found no visible marks. There are a few tiny pockmarks on the train (barely noticeable), and a bit of pilling on the satin underneath from brushing the floor but this isn’t visible when worn. The three small hooks for the bustle have a little of their white coating worn off; they could easily be replaced. I’m happy to send detailed photos of these minor imperfections.

Alterations

Lightly sewn-in cups on the inside lining (can be easily removed if preferred)
A sturdy wrist strap has been added underneath the train, handy for holding it off the ground
A French bustle with three small hooks has been added to the back, so you can lift and secure the train during the reception for dancing or moving around easily (see photos)
The hem was let out slightly, because of this there's a fold line at the front of the dress about that I couldn't fully get out with ironing, and seamstress added thick ribbon as backing along the front hem to weight it down so it sits better

Fit adjustments:
Slightly taken in at the underarms, hips, and back darts, with the waist let out a little
The seamstress left extra fabric in the seams, so it can be let out again if needed
