Pink Door Collection Wedding Gown – Bridals by Gilbert (Spring 2024)

This elegant lace wedding gown was purchased in Spring 2024 from Bridals by Gilbert in Perry, Georgia, from their exclusive Pink Door Collection. While the boutique carries designers such as Jesus Peiro, Justin Alexander, and Zuri Bridal, this gown is part of the store’s in-house Pink Door Collection.

The dress is labeled a size 10, but fits closer to a US size 4/6 (my typical street size), with a beautifully tailored silhouette.

Design details include:

Intricate allover lace with a timeless, romantic pattern

A flattering deep V-neckline with delicate lace straps

Alterations:

Built-in cups added, allowing the dress to be worn comfortably without a bra

Length shortened to fit a height of 5'7" with extra length to accommodate for wearing with 2-inch heels

The back structure was originally higher and professionally altered to create a lower back, as shown in the photos (both on the hanger and worn)

The gown is new and has never been worn beyond one fitting. It was purchased for a wedding that ultimately did not take place due to a called-off engagement. The dress is in excellent, like-new condition and has no wear from a wedding day.
