Galia Lahav, Holly Dress

This is the Galia Lahav GALA “Holly” gown from the FW 2023 Darling collection — a modern, romantic A-line dress with delicate embroidered floral lace, a flattering corset bodice, and a signature side slit.

The dress was only altered at the hem to accommodate my height (5’5” wearing a 4” heel). No alterations were made to the bodice, waist, or hips, making this an excellent candidate for easy tailoring.

The corset is incredibly comfortable and supportive (customized by Galia Lahav for a 34C cup size) and does not dig in. This was by far the lightest and most comfortable wedding dress — perfect for long celebrations or destination weddings.

I wore the dress for approximately 5 hours before changing into a reception outfit, so it is in pristine, like-new condition with no visible wear.

Included is the matching Holly cathedral-length veil, featuring coordinating lace details. The veil alone retails in the $1,500–$2,000+ range and is often resold separately for $800–$1,200, making this bundle an exceptional value.

As a personal note, my professional seamstress — who works regularly with high-end designer gowns — commented that this was one of the most beautiful wedding dresses she has ever worked on.
