Beautiful experimental multicoloured silk Leanne Marshall backless, a-line dress. It has a 3-layer skirt that looks great in the wind, walking, and dancing.

This dress was from a Leanne Marshall mystery box in 2025 - as far as I know it's from the old bridal line and then creatively dyed (by LM) and sold at a steep markdown. The colours are beautiful and really saturated. The value of the box was $2700.

I had the straps changed to lengthen them slightly so that the waist would be at my waist (I'm 5'8"/174cm) and the hem shortened for me in flats, with the train at court length (~40cm longer than the front hem). I also had a bustle added - there are two parts to it, one on the first layer of skirt and one on the second.

There's a little pull in the stitching on the top layer of skirt, pulls in the second layer as I had to pin a section up, and there are some remaining stains and pulled threads on them hem after dry-cleaning.
