The overskirt originally fell toward the back
The seamstress was able to rework it by moving the opening forward, allowing the overskirt to fall over my hips and create a slightly fuller, more rounded effect
A wide elastic band is built into the inside of the dress to ensure it fits snugly against the body and stays in place
I didn’t need to adjust the dress at all throughout the evening—it didn’t slip down even once
