The Dress
This one-shoulder, tulle ballgown with chantilly lace bodice and flower detail on the waist is by Alvina Valenta. The front features a diagonal 3-tiered graduated overlay. It is a size 10 but I usually wear a JCrew size 6 dress and this fits quite well. The details of the tulle, lace, flower, beading, and even the lace on the crinoline under layer are stunning. It is a sample so there are slight defects like a tiny tear in the tulle of the skirt and the loops to the hooks that hold up the overlay need to be fixed. No alterations have been made to the dress and it will be very easy for a seamstress to fix these little issues when alterations are done.
