The Dress

This beautiful dress was exactly what I was looking for! It is ivory lace over ivory satin. The dress is a slip gown, that is form-fitting with a little flare at the knees. The lace is beautifully done with scalloping at the hem. The capped sleeves are also delicate and give the dress some classic character. The neckline is low, but tasteful.

The back of the dress is spectacular. It is backless and is outlined by lace that runs from lower back to shoulders. The satin-covered buttons run the length of the back and train. The train is a good length, not too long, but is so beautiful with the satin underneath, and the lace that extends beyond the satin.

The dress is light and was very comfortable to wear. I am a 34D, and wore a backless bra. It worked well because the dress also has some support in it. I danced the night away in this dress.

The dress bustles easily with just one button and hook.

I bought the size 10, but had it taken in on the sides and at the shoulders a bit before the wedding. I also had the dress length altered to fit my height (with 1" heels). I am 5'7" and about 135 lbs and the dress fit very well, and wasn't too tight.
