The Dress

I always imagined myself in something simpler on my wedding day, however when I put this dress on I fell in love. Out of all the dresses I tried, this one made me feel the most beautiful. It is so flattering; it cinched in my waist, flattened my tummy and hid my hips. The in-built bra was very supportive and I didn’t need to wear the strapless bra I had bought. The dress was comfortable to wear for the entire day and well in to the night.
The waist of the dress where the (removable) ribbon belt is sits at belly button height making the dress comfortable to sit down in.
The dress was only worn once (the end of January 2016) and was professionally cleaned and boxed in acid-free tissue paper by Made with Love straight after the wedding. I am also including the dress bag I purchased with the dress.

The dress was a size 12 that was made to my measurements. I also had it taken in right before the wedding.
As the dress has a lace up back there is room for adjusting it to fit.

The below measurements given to me by my seamstress are the range that will fit the dress-
Bust- 96-103cm
Waist- 77-83cm
Height- 168cm –This is my height, I wore the dress with flats, if you are shorter than this you will be able to wear heels.
The length of the tulle skirt is- 107cm.

There is still room for you to take the dress in again if needed.

The dress is ivory; it has a beautiful fitted lace bodice and a floaty tulle skirt. I spent a little bit more to alter the original design slightly. I altered the neckline to dip a little bit deeper to make it more of a true sweetheart shape which I found a lot more timeless and flattering than a straighter neckline. I also lowered the back slightly. There is a white panel in the back that sits under the lace up back, I wore this panel but it can be unbuttoned to have the lace work against your bare skin.
Made with Love are no longer making this dress which is such a shame.
