The Dress

PLEASE NOTE THIS DRESS IS A SIZE 9, NOT AN 8 (I couldn't select 9).

I always thought I would kept my wedding dress forever but this dress is too beautiful to keep in a box.

The dress is Stella York 5720, bought brand new and worn once. Professionally dry cleaned by Stannards Drycleaners in Subiaco, WA, a member of the Association of Wedding Gown Specialists and it is currently stored in one of their specialty boxes which I will include in the sale.

The dress is soft organza Ivory in colour with a Pewter colour dolce satin belt around the waist. The bodice has accents of lace and diamantes and the diamantes continue lightly throughout the dress. It has a beautiful long train which can be bustled at the back. The back of the bodice is lace up so it can be easily adjusted to tighten or let out a little.

I am 5ft 2" tall and I wore 4" heels. My measurements taken when I ordered the dress were 34" bust, 25" waist and 31.5" hips. The size 9 was perfect for me.

I am not very tall and have a small waist, the dolce satin belt accentuated my waist and the diamantes throughout the dress meant the dress flowed from the bodice all the way to ground, it didn't cut me off at the waist (as the sales lady said).

I will also include the 1-wire petticoat which I purchased for $119 (brand new) with the dress as well as the two-tier veil (purchased for $60 brand new) which is 45" long, shimmer silk white and made from American tulle. Due to the detail on the dress I wanted a very simple veil.

I felt like a princess in this dress, it was exactly what I wanted.

The alterations I had done was the dress taken up and the bustle added. This was done professionally by Adore Bridal Alterations in Osborne Park, WA. There are no flaws in the dress, the drycleaners did an amazing job and removed all marks. It looks brand new!
