The Dress

The Penelope Dress is a gorgeous, light weight, flowing dress. I had previously bought two others for my September wedding, but I saw this one online just a few weeks before my big day and just had to have it. I ordered from the company and it arrived in perfect condition. It fit like a glove and Required no alterations to the body. I am a 38C cup and could have worn it without additional support.

I paid a professional seamstress to shorten the length only on the front of the dress. I was wearing 4 inch heels for a beach wedding and I needed more step room. I am 5'6" tall and the length on the front of the dress was shortened approximately 2 inches. With the four-inch heels, the dress brushed the floor on the front and drifted beautifully in the back.

The dress is Ivory Tule with a bronze underlayer and a sweetheart neckline with illusion straps. It has a side zipper under the left arm. The layering makes the dress reflect light beautifully. It came with a tule sash, however I substituted that for a crystal sash that better suited my preferences. It does not bustle, but is quite comfortable to carry over one arm.

I loved this dress, it made me feel beautiful on my special day. The label sizes is a 14 and this is also a US street size 14. It comes with the designer bag and the wooden hanger. They crystal sash is available for an additional fee if interested.
