**Katherine Tash Moon Dress** This is a second hand dress I bought here on Still White and had a very pleasant experience purchasing it. It is a gorgeous dress that I fell I love with in-store, back home in London. I therefore purchased the best one I could find here on Still White. Ultimately we're having a winter wedding in December back in the UK and I've decided to go for something a bit different! I feel sad not being able to wear this dress but I know the low back is just not practical for me... If only we were having a summer wedding or getting married here in Singapore (where I am based). I'm therefore selling it on (as you'll know weddings are expensive!).
See the link to the original post and bride from whom I bought it. https://www.stillwhite.com/457536-katherine-tash
There are some very slight signed of wear but nothing major at all, and nothing more that I imagine you might even get one a brand new silk dress during the process of getting ready and going to your venue! VERY slight marks under the arms, but not noticeable and would to be not enough to make me feel uncomfortable wearing it. I steamed it when it arrived and tried it on twice for a very short period of time. That is the only additional wear it has had.
The bride made some alterations to it (notes below)
As per designer's website: Moon is modern minimalism at its finest. Bias cut silk falls in a subtle draped neckline, and a deep open back highlighted with a flowing cowl accent. Created for our brides who appreciate the effortless look and feel of a Katherine Tash gown.
Comment from original bride: Originally purchased from sphere bridal in Alexandria Sydney. My wedding was on a sunny day so no serious stains and has been dry cleaned since and placed in original garment bag. Very minor unnoticeable markings remain post dry cleaning as seen in photos (small mark on bottom of dress and slight mark on stitching of straps from fake tan).
Dress cost original pride $6500 including professional alterations. I paid AU $4,100 + shipping to Singapore for it. I accept I'll make a bit of a loss on this!
