This is the VRM252 from Viktor & Rolf's Fall/Winter 2021 Mariage collection — a long-sleeve crepe mermaid with a deep plunging V-neckline, an open back, and the oversized structural bow that's become the house signature. I bought it at Love Couture Bridal for $3,250 and wore it once, for my wedding in 2022.
The drama runs front to back: the plunge keeps the front from being too demure, and when you turn around, the bow is pure architecture. It photographed better than anything else at our wedding, and the crepe was genuinely comfortable for a full day of ceremony, dinner, and dancing.
One practical note for fuller-busted brides: I had cups professionally sewn in, so the plunge is secure and supported all day with no bra needed — no tape, no adjusting. It's a deep V you can actually dance in.
It's been professionally dry cleaned and has no flaws, stains, or wear. I'm a big believer in giving a dress like this a second life rather than letting it sit in a closet. I'm happy to send additional photos or measurements, just ask.
