Vera Wang, Heddy

Hi and Congratulations! This is an exquisite wedding gown from Vera Wang's Couture collection in 2002- 'Heddy'. It was worn once and quickly cleaned and preserved right after the wedding. It was an absolute pleasure and luxury to wear :) it was ordered as a size 6 and then altered to measurements: 35 bust, 28 waist, 35 hips, 5'7" tall and I wore a small heel of about 2 inches. The dress was a pure white, but is slightly beige now even though it was preserved. I know some who have brightened their white gowns and baby blessing dresses, so it can be more of the original white color if you prefer. The dress is strapless and was actually very comfortable to wear - no strapless bra, was altered to fit my body and did not fall down all day and night. The dress was very unique in the sense that it had a beautiful lace design throughout and covered with a thin layer of organza on top. Then for the flowy bottom there was also some lace but with layers of whimsical tulle over it. I chose to wear more crinoline under it to make it bigger, but alone it is equally as beauful and full. I love how it was very magical and classic at the same time. The back was pinned up for the reception, but still had a romantic flow to it as I danced through the night. I chose a long veil but this dress does not even need it. It would look beautiful and elegant with or without a headpiece or veil. I did not want to take the dress off at the end of the night- that's how much I loved it:)
I would be so happy to have someone else wear it and create beautiful memories. I actually kept the copy of the dress sketch by Vera Wang that the store gave me (along with the receipt), but can't find them - If I do I will include both!
