Truly beautiful dress.

Dress was purchased from Astra Bridal in Wellington for $3400, then hired a professional seamstress to change the bottom half to be more A-Line (don’t worry, the original skirt is still present underneath - see alteration details below). I can’t recall if this dress is “white” or “ivory” but the pictures give a good idea.

Selling for a VERY competitive price due to the new owner needing to either add a tulle skirt layer (this only cost me around $150-$200), or remove the exisiting extra circle skirt to get it back to the original Veda skirt beneath. There are small tears on each elbow which isn’t very noticeable when being worn, and should be an easy enough fix.

It has been professionally dry cleaned at a cost of $340.

Alterations

A circle skirt layer was added over the original skirt - this is more white on front and a slightly darker ivory on the back half, which made the shadowing and colours look amazing
A tulle layer was then added on top for the wedding day which is what you see in the pictures, but NOTE this layer has been removed as it got torn on the day
The circle skirt layer remains, so the new owner can either remove this and just keep the original ‘Veda’ form fitted skirt, or can add a new top tulle layer as I did, for a beautiful A Line shape
Better bra cups were added (I am a small B size)
Mesh was added underneath the armpits to allow better arm movement
Hooks were added in the back of the skirt so that the top layer could be hitched up
