This gown by Truvelle features a V-neck neckline, open sides, and a striking back. The bodice is lined with a stretch satin, and lies close to the skin. The skirt is made of hand-draped chiffon, which catches movement and the wind perfectly. The lace bodice and off-white chiffon skirt is tied together beautifully with a silk bow that is both elegant and dramatic. The dress can also be worn without the bow in the back.
I custom-ordered the dress with a straight skirt instead of the draped skirt you might see in online photos. I added eyelash lace to the sides of the dress to provide a little bit more coverage. While there isn't a very long train, I also added a small bustle.
On a personal note, this dress photographs beautifully, and it was incredibly comfortable to wear the entire day! I had it professionally dry-cleaned, and it looks as pristine as the day I picked it up.
