The Dress

This listing is for my Rosa Clara Cesar wedding gown. I wore this for my wedding last year, and it is in very good condition. I managed to make it through the night without spilling anything on me! There is minimal wear and tear from the one day, mostly on the bottom where there was some dragging on the floor. The color of the dress is ‘natural.’ It is a light ivory color.

This dress is so beautiful, and super unique! And it actually looks as good as it does in the professional pictures. The dress has incredible embroidery and beading all around the bodice. There are (actual) buttons on the back that are fun to deal with on the big day, with a zipper behind them.

I am 5’5” (and a quarter!) tall and I wore flats with this dress. However, when I had it altered, I asked the seamstress to hem it in a way that it could be lengthened again because I was planning to resell. So if you are slightly taller than me, it would likely still be very workable for you. The only other alteration it has had done is a running stitch across the top to snug it to my chest…again, easily adjustable. There are bra cups sewn in that can be used, removed, or replaced. I did also have the elastic band inside the dress that holds it up replaced with a heavier duty one. The dress is a size 8. My dimensions at the time were Bust: 36.5 Waist 28.0 Hips: 41.5 (hips don't matter too much in this dress)

Although the dress came with a piece that goes over the shoulders that is a mesh and has extensive beading in a butterfly design (see picture), I chose not to wear this. So if you buy this dress, that piece will come with it, and it has never been used or sewn into place. This means the piece can be fully customized to you and your body. Or, you can choose not to wear it, as I did.

There is a bustle if you want to use it.
