About the Dress

CONDITION:
-Brand New Never Worn, (I listed this as Used as there are some flaws to note): I bought this dress brand new from a department store on sale, this was the last one available so there are some flaws and imperfections. I have highlighted examples of some of the flaws. Photos are unfiltered, not retouched, and I used natural lighting only (Except for the first video clip of the dress spinning 360 degrees, I had the lights on for that. And the clip of me showing the zippers working I sped up for video time limitation). Photos have been cropped for size. Overall I’d say the dress is in very good but not pristine condition, and a few spots may need cleaning.

-Flaws (present when I purchased): 1) some markings on the front near the neckline and chest 2) some markings on the skirt, most of the markings fall hidden between the folds of the skirt when it is on figure 3) a few tiny marks throughout the dress, I think these were caused by the embellishments of the dress rubbing against itself 4) a few faint fabric pulls

-Fixes (this dress has not been altered, but some flaws were mended by hand): 1) the interior corset had a small hole where the store security tag was attached, the hole is now sewn closed 2) there was a tiny pull to the fabric near the side zipper, the pull was fixed and reversed 3) the dress originally has a pad sewn on the interior above the corset bra cups. I think the pad was designed for the form and shape of the dress. It was removed during a try-on, but resewn back on- it is easy to keep or remove per your fit preference

-Classic tea length dress with a fitted bodice and a silhouette mixed between Princess and A-Line, the skirt falls beautifully into soft folds
-Corset with bra cups is attached on the interior
-Separate four layer petticoat underskirt adds beautiful shape and volume to the tea length skirt and silhouette
-Zipper closures with hooks and eyes for the underskirt, corset, and main dress. One small floral appliqué has a hidden button closure. The dress was a little small for my mannequin so the main dress did not do up all the way for the on figure photos, however the zippers and closures are fully functional
-Includes: Miu Miu garment bag, Miu Miu hanger, Miu Miu brand hang tag (garment bag is a little wrinkled, hang tag has some creasing, and the hanger’s ‘Miu Miu’ foil branding and velvet has some wear)
-This dress is reminiscent of the stunning bespoke wedding dress Miu Miu custom designed and made for actress Bel Powley, featured on Vogue (Her wedding is worth a google, her Miu Miu dress was breathtaking and she looked fabulous!) Both this Miu Miu dress and Bel’s version have a corset, underskirt, and a dress with beautiful hand sewn floral appliqués embellished with crystal and beading throughout

-Lining: 100% Polyester
-Underskirt: 100% Polyamide
-Made In Italy (I am not sure what year it was made but I purchased in 2025, so my guess is made in 2024)
