About the Dress

This was a custom made wedding dress from Etsy seller OfficeSevenSisters. There is no label size, it was fit to my measurements but would fit a size 4 or size 6. It's perfect for a renaissance, medieval, woodland, cottagecore themed wedding. It has a double-layered skirt; each skirt layer has 2 drawstrings on the front that allows you to hike up the skirt to show your legs or just add some additional volume/texture to the skirt. The drawstrings on the under layer were an additional add on. The under layer of the skirt is made of linen while the outer layer and rest of the dress is made of satin. I have 26.5 inch waist and the corset is nearly closed all the way for me, so it can accommodate a bigger waist, probably up to a 28.5 inch waist or more if you don't mind a larger opening in the back of the corset. The low cut corset front is very flattering for women with larger chests, it was not the most flattering on me as I am only an A cup. The dress is very light and has string straps that can be tied and adjusted to any length. I also included images of the different stylings I did on the back. The dress is intended to have a string that goes across the upper back, but I attempted to tuck in the upper back panels and tie the string to the shoulder straps in such a way that it had more of an open back.

For reference, this is a new dress that was only worn the few times that I tried it on at home. I thought I would love it, but I just didn't get that special feeling trying it on (not because the dress is not beautiful but I think because I had just always pictured a lace dress). Unfortunately, the Etsy seller would not accept a return since 3 weeks had already passed since I decided not go with this dress for my wedding. I originally paid over $800 for this dress.
