I absolutely adored this dress! The fit was perfect for someone with hips and stomach they don't want to show off. The sleeves are detachable, and while I didn't choose to do that, the dress is lovely that way as well. The other HUGE plus was how lightweight the dress was. When I first picked it up in the bag I had to make sure it was actually in there. Alterations include length (I'm 5'7 and wore flat shoes), a bustle, taking up the sleeves a little, and removing the ruffle at the end of the sleeves to show off the beautiful pearls! I had a reception dress I changed into so I wore this dress about 4 hours total. It has not been dry cleaned, and that is reflected in the price.
