About the Dress

I loved my wedding dress and you'll love it too! The Willowby by Watters Hearst gown is from Anthropologie's bridal line, bhldn. This style is classy, whimsical, and flattering. The floral lace appliqués add a botanical feel, which perfectly fit my California lodge wedding. The transparent straps and under-bust add a bit of a chic/sexy vibe.
This is the original dress of this style that I’ve seen imitated by other designers, but imo the bhldn/willowby original is the most elegantly designed.

I had alterations to shorten it, as I didn't want it to be dragging on the ground (it's in great condition), took in the shoulder straps a bit, added an extra eye hook and snap on the back closures, and added padded/push-up bra cups (I'm an A-cup). The bra cups could be easily removed and replaced by different size ones. The dress is no longer on the bhldn website (I purchased it in 2022) but if you look up other postings for this gown you can see the original train was quite long- https://www.stillwhite.com/452528-willowby-by-watters.
For reference, I am 5'8", wore 1.5 inch heels in the photos, A-cup, and weigh 165 lbs.
Regarding the color, it’s more of a champagne than it appears in these photos due to the editing. I would cross reference other listings for this same gown to get the most accurate representation of the color.

This dress has been lovingly taken care of, was dry cleaned immediately following the wedding, and has been in climate controlled storage since. I am so excited to pass this beautiful gown on to you!
