About the Dress

Caroline Castigliano Tribute wedding dress in beautiful white Italian Mikado fabric (a mid-weight silk that holds its shape very well, but is light to wear, very comfortable).
Size - Made to measure for my dimensions, but is around a size 8 (would also fit size 6).
Top - strapless, corset bodice with a straight neckline. Fastening is a corset (lace-up), with silk buttons on top.
Bottom - skirt is a voluminous A-line, with a very long, impressive train. There are soft pleats through the sides and back that create extra volume. There are also concealed pockets in the side seams!
Detached puff sleeves x2 - elasticated inside to stay in place on your arms. These are included in price.
Dress and sleeves have been dry-cleaned, have NO stains, are as good as new, and in a beautiful bridal storage box.

Optional extras:
Veil, satin-rimmed +£100 - in excellent condition, as good as new.
Pearl crown on silver headband (Arianna Mira) +£100 - excellent condition, as good as new.

This was my dream wedding dress, I felt like royalty in it and I am very sad to sell it but would like it to be enjoyed by another bride as I’ll never wear it again! It was so comfortable, the fabric has a stiffness to it so it held its shape all day, but was lightweight to wear! It moved and flowed beautifully. The corset is well-structured and stayed in place the whole day, but didn’t feel restrictive at all, and the waistline finishes high enough that there was plenty of room for eating comfortably and post-food tummy expansion! There is a bustle in situ so the long train can be brought up for the evening do and dancing, but part of the bustle needs replacing as it came off. I also removed the sleeves for the evening and put on the pearl crown for a different look, and for more freedom when dancing without the sleeves!
