About the Dress

Customised Chosen by Kyha Wedding Dress - Luni altered to look like the Wharton Dress: back lowered, sleeves pleated and buttons added to the zip. Spare buttons also available (these cost me £100 alone from Kyha). Alterations were carried out by Ellie Sanderson Bridal Seamstresses who can confirm the alterations made.

I altered the Luni because 1) I found out that one of my best friends had chosen the same wedding dress and was getting married a couple of weeks before me, same friend group and everything. 2) Wharton was only released after Luni, and when I saw it, I was so upset that I had missed out. It was exactly what I wanted with the low back and pleated sleeves! In the end I am so glad I turned Luni into my dream dress and I couldn’t be happier with it. It was so comfortable, which was really important to me, and I felt like a princess the entire afternoon.

Standard UK10 size, and fit me perfectly, didn’t have to take it in size wise. My bra size is a 34 C small cup.

Dress has been professionally cleaned by professional wedding dress cleaners, and is in near mint condition.

Hem is still perfect and not frayed or bobbled at all. This dress has a bustle and also a wrist loop.

I changed into a second dress before the reception started hence why it’s done so well. There are a couple of very faint marks visible on the inside of the train of the dress in the lining, but are not visible on the outside at all (see video).

There is only one tiny (pin head size) faded mark visible on the outside of the dress and I have taken a photograph of this listed here. I have not tried remove this mark as it’s barely visible and the dresses Aline shape means the folds hides it. We are only allowed to share 8 photos but I have more if you want to see.

Bought brand new from Ellie Sanderson last year and total cost with alterations and fittings came to more than £6,000.

Spare buttons also available (these cost me £100 alone from Kyha). Dress was hemmed to touch the floor at the front at my height with heels (164cm tall plus 5cm heels)
