About the Dress

This is the Brigitte wedding dress by Leanne Marshall. I purchased it used in 2018, and it has been professionally cleaned and altered to approximately a size 6. The dress was worn once by the original owner for her wedding; I have not worn it myself, as I ultimately chose a different dress.

It features a flattering A-line silhouette with a sweetheart neckline accented by delicate lace detailing, and a small train. Stitched-in bra cups provide support, so a separate bra isn’t necessary (My bra size is 34C). The length of the dress reaches the floor without heels (I’m about 5'9").

The dress is in good condition and comes in its original garment bag from the store where it was purchased. It has been kept in a smoke-free and pet-free home. The first photo is a stock photo of the dress. The second photo was provided by the original owner, who gave me permission to use it for reselling the dress. There is some minor wear from the dress being worn once before. The original owner had an outdoor wedding, so the hem of the skirt picked up some marks. Fortunately, these are not very noticeable when the dress is being worn. I am happy to send additional photos of the dress if you are interested.

The fully-boned sweetheart bodice is a beautiful silk duchess satin. It features hand-sewn and draped bust detail with lace embellishments. The skirt is made of a delicate ivory silk chiffon. The silk chiffon skirt dances and flows with every movement.
The skirt is fully lined in silk charmeuse. Zipper up the back.

Each dress is made by hand in NYC when it is ordered.

Alterations

The dress was altered to fit a size 6, though it may also accommodate a size 8. Bra pads were sewn into the bust for added support, and additional material was added to allow the train to be bustled.
