This Chelsea Simple Satin Ball Gown by Avery Austin is the embodiment of elegance and romance. COLOR: IVORY - HOLLOW TO HEM IS 59". This dress comes in the Avery Austin Bag, and has not been cleaned yet. I wore a separate dress for my reception, so wear time in this dress was 2.5 hours. The dress features gorgeous buttons in the back with a train. No bustle was added to this dress.
From the moment I tried it on, I felt like a true princess, and I hope someone else can experience that same magic on their special day. The ballgown silhouette beautifully flares out, creating a stunning shape that's flattering on any figure. The fabric is a gorgeous thick satin material.

Alterations
- Dress was originally a size 16, but was altered to fit me after I lost 9 inches on my waist
- This now fits a size 8 or a 10 in a Wedding dress size according to the size guide listed on the Avery Austin Website
- Due to the nature of the alterations, an extra seam was added to the front of the bust, which is hardly noticeable
- Also, the pockets had to be removed from this dress
