About the Dress

This Mimosa dress by Alena Leena holds a special place in my heart as it made my wedding day absolutely magical. With its elegant A-line silhouette and beautiful floor-length design, this ivory gown perfectly complemented the romance of our celebration. The soft, flowing fabric feels luxurious against the skin, creating an ethereal appearance as you walk down the aisle.

One of my favorite features is the stunning detachable flutter sleeves, which offer versatility and allow you to effortlessly switch from a sophisticated look for the ceremony to a fun, playful style for the reception. I loved being able to have 'two looks' on my wedding day.

To complete the look, I am also including the lovely veil (cathedral length) that carries the same ivory hue, adding an extra touch of elegance to your special day - this has delicate pearls scattered throughout add just the right amount of sparkle, catching the light in the most enchanting way. Wedding Dress Size 14 (I am UK size 12, sometimes 10!) and ready for a new loving journey, this dress is perfect for any bride looking to feel stunning and confident on her wedding day. There is unfortunately staining and some light fraying to the bottom of the dress (it rained, but I didn't let that stop the fun!) - but it could be re-hemmed to remove this if you're shorter than me (5'8").

Alterations

Taken up to suit my height (5'8"), wore 3.5 inch heels, cups added to bust, concealed hook added to allow train to be hooked up for dancing!
