Elegant Reem Acra Wedding Gown – Two Looks in One

This stunning A-line gown by Reem Acra combines timeless elegance with modern detail, perfect for the bride who wants to feel both classic and unique. It features a flattering neckline and layers of delicate tulle adorned with 3D floral appliqués and intricate beading.

The gown offers two looks in one with custom detachable off-the-shoulder sleeves that mirror the gown’s floral and embroidered detailing. I wore the off-shoulder sleeves for the ceremony and switched to the spaghetti straps for the reception—ideal for dancing the night away while still maintaining an elegant look.

The bodice includes a structured corset with nude cups sewn in for support and shape, while the full skirt is lined for comfort, volume, and coverage.

Purchased from Dimitra’s Bridal Couture in Chicago, this gown is in excellent condition and has been lovingly cared for.

It was truly my dream dress—timeless, romantic, and one-of-a-kind. I still receive compliments to this day, and I hope another bride gets to feel just as special in it.

Alterations

The gown was professionally tailored with minor alterations to the waist. A beautifully designed bustle was added, allowing sections of the skirt to gather at the waist—elegant, functional, and seamlessly integrated into the design.

For added versatility, the off-the-shoulder sleeves are completely detachable, giving you the option to switch to delicate spaghetti straps (included) for a more relaxed, dance-friendly look during the reception.

The front of the gown was also slightly shortened to suit a height of 5’6” with heels.
