The Dress

This dress has a beautiful and unique lace pattern, a gorgeous bodice, and an elegant illusion back! I've gotten SO many compliments on it! I tried on at least 40 fit-and-flare lace gowns before finding this one, and knew it was the one the moment I tried it on.

The dress is essentially UNALTERED. It fit me perfectly, so all I had done was have cups sewn in (these would be very easy to snip out). And I had three sets of bustling loops sewn in -- they are not noticeable unless you are trying to find them (and even then, they are hard to spot). I am 6' 2" and wore it with flats. In street clothes I am between a size 6 U.S. and a size 8 U.S. My measurements are: 34" bust; 28" waist; 35" hips (all measurements in inches).

I wore the dress on my wedding day, and then promptly had it dry cleaned. After the cleaning, I noticed one very very small tear in the hemline of the dress which I've included a photograph of. (If you're looking for the tear, it's shown in the last photo. It's where the small circle of lace has detached on its right edge, shown between my ring finger and pointer finger.) It would be extremely easy to repair this so that it was good as new!
