The Dress

It it with sadness that I am selling my beautiful wedding dress. It is a true fairytale gown and is the most exquisite and flattering dress I have ever worn. I wish I could wear it for nights out and parties but, alas, I have to live in the real world!

The dress is model 1806 by Mori Lee from the 2012 collection. I purchased it from The Bridal Collection, Lancaster in October 2013.

I am a high street size 20-22 but as nearly all wedding dresses are made to a smaller size than high street sizes I ordered two sizes up to a 26.

The quality of this dress is just fantastic.
The fabric is a fully lined luxurious ivory organza. The detailing is very intricate beading of Swarovski crystals to the sweetheart neckline and to the left hip. The full skirt floats out into layers which gives a unique feel and provides a beautiful effect on the back of the skirt. There is a train on the skirt and there is a small button hidden away to attach the train to in the evening.
Finally, the back of the bodice has corset fastening which was easy to do (Mum got it right on first attempt!).

Most importantly it was comfortable and I found it easy to move around and dance.

The underskirt hoop is included in the price. The dress comes in its original protective bag and is wrapped in tissue. It has been immaculately stored.

I would have liked to sell at half price but have added £100 to cover dry cleaning and advertising costs.

I am looking forward to seeing this dress bring another bride as much happiness as is brought me when I bought it.

A panel was added to the back and the hem was altered to fit 5ft 5 (with 3 inch heels)
