About the Dress

Selling my Karen Willis Holmes (KWH) - Shelby dress. Crafted from luxurious Dublin crepe, featuring bubble sleeves. The flattering V-neckline and low cut back create a timeless, elegant look, while the soft minimal bias slip design allows for more flexibility with the fit – it's not super structured, so it's more forgiving across different body shapes and sizes (no need for super exact measurements- standard size 8).

The dress was professionally dry cleaned in Perth in April 2025 - it’s boxed in tissue paper for storage and ready to be shipped to its next owner in perfect condition.

Alterations

Profressionally altered by KWH recommended seamstress in Brisbane. Alterations as followed: Built-in D Cup Bra: added to provide secure support and shaping. This feature ensures comfort and confidence throughout the day- it allowed me to truly enjoy every moment without the worry of adjusting straps, tapes or uncomfortable underwires. ​

Hemmed: Tailored to fit a height of 168 cm (with 5cm heels).​

Wrist Ribbon: A discreet ribbon added to hold the train conveniently on the wrist, offering ease of movement during the reception or photos (as seen in image above).

Bustle Added: An option to bustle the train for ease during the reception, allowing for effortless dancing and mingling.​
