About the Dress

Made from layers of sheer lace, with long draped fringing, this gown is Bohemion in style, harmonising vintage allure with contemporary elegance.
The Dakota gown has a long draped fringe over CornelliLace, a keyhole neckline, set in sleeves which are fitted to the elbow and fluted out to the wrist.
Fitted silhouette through the bust, waist and hips.
It also has a lovely train, which can be buttoned up at the back for ease of movement.

Every Rue de Seine dress is cut singularly and is constructed from start to finish by the same seamstress, this helps to ensure consistency and the same high standard of finishing across every garment. Every lace used in a Rue de Seine gown is designed in-house and is exclusive to Rue de Seine, creating unique, fashion forward gowns that embody the bohemian spirit and set Rue apart from the rest of the bridal world.

I bought the dress from Jean Jackson couture in Manchester just after this dress was discontinued in 2018 which makes this unique dress all the more special.

The dress has been professionally cleaned recently. It has been worn once only and has been packed away securely since.

Brides willing to travel to Warrington, Cheshire are welcome to try on the dress before purchase.

A button and loop has been attached at the back to pin the train up for ease of movement, dancing etc.
