About the Dress

"The Ball Tie is a classic Westwood silhouette, created in sumptuous heavy silk satin or soft shine silk cady. A structured corset enhances the décolletage, whilst two lengths of Chantilly lace or silk georgette overlay the corset top, to drape across the arms or tie at the back, creating a subtle hourglass figure gliding over the hips and sweeping to the floor."

Bought for a 2020 wedding that couldn't happen... I've held on to this stunning dress (professionally stored) in the hope of wearing it but after 2 children it's no longer suitable for me. Still in original garment bag, plastic and box and I have the receipt if required.

Cost £6,285 and I know they are much more expensive now due to increases in fabric costs etc. It is a classic design of theirs that you are still able to have made to order, with a lead time of around 6 months.

I am a standard UK size 10 and there were minimal alterations made. I am 5'10 and was planning to wear heels so this will most likely need taking up for most people.

There is also a length of spare fabric (around 1/2 square metre) for any alterations or accessories you might need.
