About the Dress

This is a custom dress made for me that is a bit large than my measurements so alterations can be done easily, I’ve attached actual measurements of the dress but the photos of me wearing them you can see the dress is slightly big. I am normally a street size 0 but this dress fits more like a 2.

It was inspired by the Sarah Seven Cleopatra gown (without the sleeves) and features a boned bodice with a corset-like overhang (great for hiding the pooch!), a fit and flare silhouette, bias cut down the skirt at the sides, and a long train. It is silky smooth and feels almost buttery on the body. The color is not true white, definitely more of an ivory. The fabric is Charmeuse.

This is a COMPLETELY NEW dress, unworn, unaltered. Because it was custom, it was hemmed to my preferred length (5’4” with 3.5” heels) and if you are looking for that length, this dress does not need to be hemmed additionally.

I love the way it looks but it came too late for me to be able to do alterations on it. I am devastated but would love to pass it to another bride at a discount.
