The Dress

Lace a-line wedding gown with sweep train, simultaneously angelic and sensual, slimming side draped lace A-line gown Roslin is simply elegant. Delicate hand-beading highlights the strapless sweetheart neckline while a matching beaded brooch adorns the side hip. A sweep train and back corset closure complete the gown.

This dress is Ivory Blush. It has 3 layers: Ivory Satin then blush tulle and then the Ivory lace on top. The blush tulle is very subtle but actually makes the detail of the lace more visible and gives it a bit of a vintage feel. I had the choice of all ivory or ivory blush and everyone agreed the Ivory blush was better. It is really stunning! The photos of the dress in the window really show how the blush coloring can pop in the right lighting. Otherwise it is just barely noticeable.

I had the dress taken in and hemmed. Feel free to ask me about final measurements, however, because the dress is a corset back, it will fit many body types really well. The biggest alteration (and huge improvement) was to the cups. The original dress had a wire boned bodice that actually made the bust look pointy and awkward (take a look at this dress on other brides an you'll notice the boning on some of them). My brilliant seamstress did an amazing job of reworking the bust to remove the boning and adding in padded formed cups. The ladies look sooo much better in this bodice! They are perfectly rounded and not pointy at all! This alteration makes the dress look much more accurate to the dress on the model.

This dress was worn once and dry cleaned. The lace at the bottom of the dress is every so slightly fuzzed, but only noticeable if you are inspecting it very closely.
