About the Dress

I wore this Galia Lahav Ester dress to my wedding reception. It was super comfortable and flattered my figure. I received so many compliments.

From the Designer:
Cut to a mermaid shape and crafted in soft crepe, it features a satin shawl collar with duchesse lapels that create a show-some-skin neckline, while the low back.

SIZE & FIT
- Draped crepe tuxedo dress with duchesse lapels
- Featuring a deep neckline and a low back - NOTE FROM ME: I took the V Neck up one inch so it's not too low. See image.
- The waist is the key measurement
- Non-stretch fabric fully lined with 100% silk satin
- Model wears size 36 / US 2, height 5’ 10″

I am between a US Size 4 and 6. I sized up so that the slit wasn't too open and was very happy with my choice. The top was a bit large and too low cut, so I had the V taken up and the top made a bit more snug.

Alterations

Neckline - The V was originally about an inch deeper than what you see on me. I had it raised but as you can see, the dress doesn't look "done" and the tailor did an incredible job.

Length - I had the dress taken up so I could dance more comfortably. I'm 5'5 1/2, wearing a 3-inch heel.
