The Dress

As much as this is my dream wedding dress I would much rather someone else enjoy it than it sit in our closet.

This dress is unique, comfortable, and flattering. The train is to die for! The bridal store said it was the only dress they had that had the “royal grand cathedral train.” The train was my favorite part of the dress and I also loved the details on the shoulders and back! It was actually really comfortable and lightweight. I did not have to wear anything under it because the material and the lace detail are forgiving and flattering. The first layer is silk topped with a beautiful layer of lace.

The dress is a couture size 10 made by a designer in Australia. Couture sizes run 2 sizes above normal American sizes so it is an American size 6.

I did not have it altered and at the dress shop they said it could be taken in two sizes or taken out 1 size. I did have a “french bustle” added which is 5 ties to help with the long train and dancing. I also had cups added so no bra is needed.
