I had my first fitting in August 2024 at New York’s Madison Avenue store for my wedding in October 2024. The style is Helena which is one of the most beautiful, classic styles of Monique. The Chantilly lace base with French alencon applique is absolutely stunning. I paid extra to modify the neckline to be slightly sweetheart (as originally on the Eva gown) and added a layer to the top so the bones show less. Color is nude in Monique's color language but it's really off white. It has removable padding. I also added an adjustable belt on the inside of the gown to be +/- 3 inches since I continued to lose weight close to my wedding date. Additionally, I added a bustle for my first dance. People commented how beautiful my dress still looked bustled. My wedding planner also noted that the bustle was organized by colored stitching so it's really easy to bustle. The condition is pristine and I professionally cleaned it. It was so clean that the cleaner gave me a huge discount because there wasn't much to clean. FYI, Monique store gave me extra scraps of the lace so you can use that to alter the dress if needed.
