About the Dress

4 layers of silk with one layer of embroidered tulle featuring sequined flowers and birds (nightengale).

I wore the dress to the ceremony in 2021 then to the wedding in 2022. I had a child in between and was 5 weeks postpartum for the second wearing and it still fit (see alteration note). It’s forgiving around the middle because of the wash of silk (see the texture in picture 7 of the layers).

My Jeans size 25 bra size 32C. Second wearing I was a 28 jeans and 34D

Tiny tear in one of the bottom layers from me tripping picture 7 can easily be mended in alterations.

Alterations

I wore the dress ones before my daughter and once after (Covid weddings) so we had a small diamond inserted in the side seam (picture 6) to give me more room in the bust for my larger breastfeeding breasts. Train was trimmed back to an equal floor length a-line all around, no length was taken from the dress.
