About the Dress

I had this Rara Avis dress made to the dimensions of my body. I’m a 34DDD, about a 29” waist, and the hips are irrelevant because it’s not fitted in the hips. I’m 5’2” and had it made to fit me with 4” heels. The bodice is blush with butterflies and flowers embroidered some 3D, some not, some butterfly wings flutter around on the skirt as you walk, the skirt portion is 100% silk, very light and airy.

There is crinoline attached underneath the skirt as part of the dress. If you don’t like the fullness it gives the skirt then you can cut some of it out so it’s not as voluminous on the bottom.

I never got to wear it due to Covid, we just had a simple courthouse ceremony, I loved the dress so much I’ve had a hard time parting with it but it’s time. It’s sat in my closet for 4 years, I don’t have a daughter who might one day want to wear it so at this point it’s just taking up space and I would really just love someone else to get to enjoy.

Please ask questions if you have any. The back of the bodice laces up as well as has a hook and eye closure on top of the lace up. The lace up just ensures the dress stays put but again, you can’t see the lace up because the hook and eye closure covers it up.

It did come with straps but I can’t guarantee they’re still in the bag. I’ll have to double check. For now just assume the straps are not available. I think it’s prettier without them anyway. I didn’t plan on using the straps when I was going to wear it.
