Rue De Seine, Rafia

This dress is stunning. It’s really elegant and quite modest but shows just enough skin to have a little something extra. I was adamant I didn’t want a lace dress as they are often heavy and busy but the designs of Rue De Seine are really fine and follow the contour of the body so beautifully. The design is really flattering with vertical, wavy lines. I haven’t really seen anything else like it before - simple, elegant, no-fuss which is exactly what I wanted!
There is a wrist strap at the bottom to hold the short train off the ground.

The lace is cream and the slip is a unique burnt sienna colour - gives the dress a beautiful bohemian vibe (you could swap the slip for white or cream if you wanted to)

The only alterations were a hem (i’m 5’10” and had 8cm heels on so there is still plenty of dress to have taken up if needed) and it was taken in slightly around the neck where the buttons are.

Dress was purchased from Babushka Ballerina in Brisbane and comes with original garment bag.

Selling as I’m not going to wear it again and I need space in my cupboard and I really hope someone can fall in love with this dress as much as I did!
