About the Dress

I found my perfect dress for my wedding in June with the perfect blend of classic elegance and a dash of cool with the pointed tops at the bodice and the slit. It also has the ball gown effect without being too poofy. Hope it becomes your perfect dress!

I am 5'5" 1/2 tall and usually wear a size 4 US, sometimes a 2. I wore 4 inch heels and the dress was the perfect length right to the floor, taking care to kick out a bit with each step. I ordered it online in a rush and bought it even without trying it on and it fit perfectly.

It says dupioni silk, but is synthetic. I am usually very picky about clothing being non-synthetic, but the material of this dress was similar enough to real silk since it has the dupioni texture.

I wore it at an indoor banquet and once for taking photos. It has since been dry cleaned and hanging in the dry cleaning bag.

I took in a tiny bit on each side of the bodice near the armpit so that it holds the chest in a bit more.
