I fell in love with the Katherine Tash Cecilia the moment I tried her on at Lovely Bride in NYC and purchased her on [removed]. This strapless Silk Crepe gown has a beautiful shine, an interior corset structure for support, and a generous train—she made me feel absolutely amazing on my wedding day.

This dress was worn once for my wedding ceremony, and I changed into a party dress for the reception, so it remains in great condition. It was professionally cleaned immediately after the wedding.

There is only one extremely minor imperfection on the outside of the dress, which I’ve circled in the second-to-last photo. The last photo shows a few imperfections on the inside of the dress—completely invisible when worn, but I want to fully disclose them.

Alterations

I’m typically a US Size 6 (5'3", ~130 lbs, 34C bust)
I purchased the Cecilia in Bridal Size 10, planning for minor alterations to achieve a perfect fit
Initially, I had the dress taken in to fit like a US Size 6, and it fit beautifully
However, after becoming pregnant, I had he alterations let back out before the wedding, bringing it back closer to a Bridal Size 10 on my wedding day
One common alteration for this dress is taking in the skirt around the legs for a more fitted silhouette—I originally did this but later had it let out for comfort during pregnancy, allowing the fabric to flow more freely
The good news: there’s still plenty of fabric to work with, making it perfect for future alterations!
