The Dress

THE GOWN: Isla, from Karen Willis Holmes's Bespoke Collection 2015.

DETAILS:
A beautiful strapless wedding gown with corded lace bodice and side draped silk georgette skirt with grosgrain ribbon detail at the waist.

Additional Swaroviski crystals were hand stitched by my grandmother to the bodice as an additional detail.

The gown includes an internal hidden corset, very heavily boned with added bra cups (so no bra required), would suit a B

Invisible zip in skirt, fully lined, 100% polyester satin lining.

Train can be hooked to buttons on bodice to shorten length, which is perfect for dancing at the end of the night.

COLOUR: Ivory

CUSTOM FEATURES:
- Cups were sewn into the bodice, but can be removed if desired.
- Lace up bodice (which can be tightened to suit differing shapes)
- Grosgrain ribbon belt was lightly sewn onto dress to prevent movement
- Additional Swaroviski crystals

FROM THE HEART: This was my dream dress. It was classic and modern, comfortable, romantic and just made me feel beautiful. Everyone was mesmerised by the long, flowing sheer train that with a little wind and a long veil just looked so dramatic in photographs. Nothing would make me happier than seeing someone love this dress as much as i did and have a perfect wedding day, just like I did too!

CLEANING: The dress has been professional dry cleaned by Bridal Silver Service dry cleaners (the recommended Sydney provider by Karen Willis Holmes), and is currently hanging in its original dress bag ready for a news owner.

Note: This dress would work best for a shorter bride as I am 5ft 1.
