About the Dress

This Monique Lhuillier Bloom gown is the perfect choice for a bride looking for a dress with elegance and romantic details. It is in great condition and ready to be loved by another bride!

Details:
-Ivory silk gazar fabric with soft, light green floral details
-Off-the-shoulder neckline with ruffle detailing that frames the face
-¾ length balloon sleeves (can be removed or made detachable by a tailor)
-Full ball gown silhouette that offers a classic, flattering shape
-Lightweight and breathable fabric, ideal for comfort throughout the day

Fit & Tailoring:
-The dress is labeled as a Size 10, but it was tailored to fit a US street size 4 (32" bust, 27" waist)
-Tailored by Blanca Tailoring in Manhattan, NYC, the recommended tailor from the Monique Lhuillier flagship store
-Hemmed to accommodate a 5'5" height with 4" heels (hip size is not relevant due to the ball gown style)
-Bust cups and a bustle were added for added comfort and convenience
-Professionally dry-cleaned by a wedding dress specialist

The dress is in great condition overall, though there is some light wear consistent with its use on my wedding day (including along the hem.) Please refer to the photos and video for more detailed views.

Alterations

Tailored to fit US size 4 (Bust 32", Waist 27")
Hemmed to accommodate a height of 5'5" with 4" heels (ideal for those 5'9" and under)
Bust cups and bustle added for comfort and ease of wear
Some weight removed from the underlying train to make it lighter and easier to move in, while maintaining the original train length
