About the Dress

Sottero & Midgley’s "Thaddeus" dress is dream dress royalty! Sadly for me it was just that, a dream dress, unworn and still nestled inside its boutique bridal bag. My wedding story is that of most 2020 brides; a rescheduled date & time, new venue and vendors, all a result of COVID-19 social distancing restrictions. I wouldn't wish this wedding nightmare on anyone; however, the silver lining is that YOU could wear my dream dress on YOUR big day!
The true definition of STUNNING, this breathtaking ballgown boasts elegance from every angle. It features a delicately beaded deep halter V-neckline, intricately beaded embroidered illusion bodice (which includes small opal stones), and a gorgeous ivory over blush Chantilly laced full skirt adorned with beaded lace motifs and pewter accents finished in horsehair hem.
The "Thaddeus", although it a mesmerizing timeless masterpiece, is actually suited for today's modern queen in mind. As comfortable as it is radiant, this exquisite gown includes a convenient hook & eye fastener and zipper with with a pearl button closure. Its lightweight fabric, haltered spaghetti straps, and illusion bodice will make for the perfect spring or summer wedding dress. Its striking scoop back is fitted to flatter all body types.
Sadly Maggie Sottero has discontinued this gown, but you can always buy mine! It's a size 12, but fits like a 10 or fitted 8. The only alteration to this exquisite gown are sewn in bust pads. I really would love for another lucky bride to have the opportunity to wear my fairytale dream dress and feel just as magical in it as I did.
