The Dress

This Jenny Packham "Eden" dress is a stunning and flattering wedding dress, which the designer no longer makes. It is classically elegant and very flattering.

I wanted a dress that made me feel amazing but was also comfortable and this did the job perfectly. The dress comes in two parts - a silk underlay and the beaded over dress, which makes it very easy to look after and so comfortable to wear.

I wanted this dress from the moment I first saw it - I knew it was the one. I got so many compliments, even after the day, and was able to eat, drink, dance (and go to the bathroom) and enjoy my wedding without worrying about not being able to move.

I would love to wear it again, but I have come to the conclusion it is simply too beautiful to sit in a wardrobe and I hope someone can get as much joy out of it as I did.

I am normally a size 10 and the dress is a size 12 and is designed to be loose fitting around the top. I had it taken up slightly, but other than that, no other alterations were made.

I felt like a princess wearing this dress. It is a statement dress with a wow factor but in a classic and elegant way. It has an old school elegance that makes it timeless.

I would love to pass it on to someone who gets as much joy out of wearing it as I did.
