Brand New Vivienne Westwood Cap Galaxy Dress - Customized in Heavy Silk Satin
This stunning Vivienne Westwood Cap Galaxy Dress was custom-made in 100% heavy silk satin, an upgrade from the standard FSC crepe satin and eco georgette fabric. The customization was inspired by the dress Georgia Fowler wore for her wedding, which featured the same elegant and elevated silk satin fabric.
The dress includes a detachable cape, also customized in heavy silk satin instead of the usual crepe satin. Both the dress and cape were ordered directly from Vivienne Westwood's Los Angeles boutique and were only worn briefly during the ceremony. I changed into a different outfit for the reception and dancing.
Afterward, the dress and cape were meticulously cleaned by Margaret’s Cleaners, renowned for their expertise in couture garment care.
This dress is timeless, flattering, and photographs beautifully. The heavy silk satin adds a sophisticated weight and richness, making it truly special for any bride looking for an elevated, iconic look.
